Getting Started

To begin your adventure in BillionsQuest, you’ll need to take a few essential steps:

Join the Community: BillionsQuest has a vibrant and engaging community across various platforms. Start by following them on Twitter and joining their Discord server. This is where you’ll get the latest updates, engage with fellow players, and participate in various events and discussions.

Wallet Setup: BillionsQuest operates on the Polygon blockchain, so you’ll need a compatible wallet. MetaMask is a popular choice. Set up your wallet, ensure it’s connected to the Polygon network, and load it with MATIC tokens to cover gas fees.

Add TPLAY Tokens to your Metamask

Click Metamask and Select Polygon Mumbai Network
Click on Import Tokens
Enter “0x01187A1E71e60676f4DeE5539E2dbf1a464492F5” in the Token Contract address.
Enter the Token Symbol as “TPLAY.”
Enter the Decimal as “18”
Click Add Custom Token

How to Participate in BillionsQuest

1. Visit the BillionsQuest Website — https://billions.quest/dashboard and Click on Connect Wallet to select Metamask Wallet through Wallet Selector

Possible Error: If you encountered issues connecting your Metamask Wallet to the BillionsQuest Testnet Website, it could be due to improper Metamask setup or difficulty tracking Metamask in the Browser Extension. You can try pinning the Metamask extension in your browser.

2. Click on your Wallet in the Top Right Corner and open Wallet Connect. Now, Click on Chain 137 and Switch the Network to Polygon Mumbai. This is necessary as BillionsQuest Testnet operates on the Polygon Testnet. A Metamask Window Opens; click Switch network.

2. Go to Profile and Rename your profile by clicking the small pencil Icon next to Available Balance. Also, you should see your Profile is credited with 150 $TPLAY Tokens. These Tokens can be Utilised to participate in the Daily Battles and yield Rewards, Which can be Converted to mainnet Tokens.

Possible Error: If you haven’t received 150 TPLAY Tokens in your profile, it’s possible that you connected using the Polygon Mainnet instead of the Polygon Testnet.

FYI: Players are credited automatically into their Profile with 150 $TPLAY Tokens, if their balance is less than 150 and hasn't been credited in the last 24 hours.

3. Go to Hompage and Choose the specific Index in which you wish to participate in the Battle from Global indexes

3. Pick the upcoming Battle that you want to enter. BillionsQuest offers two types:

Health Battle: In this Battle, the goal is to increase your portfolio’s health. The player with the most significant health gain wins.

Blood Battle: Here, you aim to reduce your portfolio’s health as much as possible. The player with the most significant health loss emerges victorious.

4. Enter the Battle and Build a Portfolio of Stock NFTs.

For the BillionsQuest Testnet, We have Disabled the Purchase of NFTs. Rather, the Players can Rent the NFTS from the Rent NFTs Tab, and Rent their Desirable NFTs, and select Continue.

Possible Error: If you were unable to participate in the battle or your screen keeps loading indefinitely, it might be because you haven’t logged into Wallet Connect correctly or connected to the right network (such as Polygon Mumbai). Please ensure you have the correct settings in place.

Stock NFTs: Your portfolio consists of three unique NFTs representing real-world companies. Research and select NFTs that you believe will perform well in battles.

Acquiring NFTs

BillionsQuest revolves around non-fungible tokens (NFTs) representing real-world companies. To participate in battles, you’ll need to acquire these NFTs:

Purchase NFTs: You can buy NFTs representing companies listed in the game. They’re available on various NFT marketplaces. Each NFT is unique and can be owned by only one player.

Rent NFTs: If you don’t want to invest in purchasing NFTs, you can rent them from other players for a specific battle. The NFT owner determines the rental price.

5. Select Scalars in the Battle.

Scalars can be acquired by spinning the Booster Wheel for 1 $TPLAY Token.

Once you select Pay 1 TPLAY and Spin the Wheel, A Metamask Popup Opens. Click and select Allowance on the amount that you want to Spend on the booster wheel Transaction (Mostly Max). I have Selected 2 for Reference: Select Next, Approve, and Confirm. The Random Booster will be added to your Profile.

Scalars are in-game boosters that can enhance or reduce your portfolio’s performance. Use them strategically to gain an advantage in the game/Battle.

There are two types of Scalars

Multipliers : 2x,3x,4x….,10x

Negators : -2x,-3x,-4x…,-10x

Depending upon the type of Battle you enter and based on the availability of the scalar in your profile, you can apply the scalar to the Battle to optimize your chance of winning.

Potential Issue: If your Booster Wheel hasn’t yielded any Scalars for your Profile, a failed Metamask transaction might be the culprit. To resolve this, attempt the transaction again. If the problem persists, consider utilizing the Aggressive Gas mode in your Metamask Transaction.

6. Once you select the NFTs and Scalars, Pay the Entry fee and click Confirm & Enter to the Battle.

Once you click Confirm&Enter.

A Metamask Popup Opens. Click and select Allowance on the amount that you want to Spend on the Entering Battle Transaction (Mostly Max). Select Next, Approve, and Confirm.

After completion, a subsequent Metamask popup will appear, requesting authorization for your BillionsQuest Scalar NFTs (specifically, Boosters) to join the battle. Please be aware that this contract exclusively interacts with your BillionsQuest Scalar NFTs Alone, ensuring users can confidently approve the transaction. It’s important to emphasize that this transaction is exceptionally secure.

Possible Error: If you’re still unable to participate in the battles even after approving all transactions on Metamask, it could be due to some transactions failing. Please retry the process, and if the issue persists, consider increasing your gas fee on the Metamask transaction.

Once entered, you will receive a pop-up that says you have successfully entered the Battle.

You can come back after the Battle ends to see the final leaderboard. You’ll be able to know where you stand among the other top performers and celebrate your achievement.
